Our Food

The Plough has long been noted for the excellent quality and value of its meals – why? Because we only use the best quality, fresh, local produce. We like gate to plate as quickly as possible as this makes the difference

Our food serving times are 12.00 – 2.30 weekdays, 12.00 – 5.00 Saturdays and Sundays and in the evenings (excluding Sun)  6-9. We can get very busy, so it is always advisable to book in advance, especially large parties who we do cater for on a regular basis. When the weather is better many people choose to eat in the beer-garden and there is a dedicated garden menu for the summer months. We also have a BBQ whcih will also be open for weekends in the summer months depending of course on the weather. Please note that we do not allow dogs inside the pub during mealtimes for hygiene reasons.

Of course as our meals are cooked freshly with local produce the menus change frequently – daily in fact – and so it is impossible to keep the current menu up to date on the website.

There are also selctions of light-bites, starters and desserts.
